Wilbraham Friends Of The Library Click here to link to the new Friends' Webpage The Wilbraham Friends of the Library support programming that enhances the spirit of adventure, exploration and discovery that sets the library apart as a creative center of community life. The Friends' activities involve raising funds through memberships, book sales and the collection of video fines, and then contributing those funds to specific needs of the Library. Children are a priority, with funding for children's videos, paperback prizes for summer reading, and puppets and performers for creative activities. The Friends sponsor the March Art Reception, the Book Discussion Series, author presentations and other informative and entertaining events. The organization purchases new audio cassettes, and compact discs as well as videos - from science fiction to foreign films. To be one of the Wilbraham Friends of the Library is to join hundreds of other members who are supporting a great community institution.
