![]() Join us this summer for 7 weeks of fun-filled activities and entertainment! “catch the beat @ your library” is the musical theme for the summer reading club at the Wilbraham Public Library. Children age 6 and up are invited to participate in the club which will transform the children’s area into Hard Rockin’ Café. Younger children may participate with a reading partner. Children will be asked to sign a contract to read for at least 21 days during the summer. Working toward this goal, they will receive incentives along the way. Each child who completes his or her contract will be invited to a private party in August. The finishers will receive a certificate of completion, a prize, and a free paperback book. New this year is an online component that may be accessed through our web page. A variety of special events will be offered throughout the summer, supported by the Friends of the Library, the regional library systems, Waste Management, and the MBLC. Sign-up will be held one week before each event. Students going into grade 6 and up will enjoy the Teens’ program, “catch the beat @ your library”. Flyers are available in the Young Adult area of the library or you can check here event information.
