“WILD READS at your library” is the nature theme for the summer reading club at the Wilbraham Public Library. Children age 6 and up are invited to participate in the club which will transform the children’s area into a jungle. Younger children may participate with a reading partner.
Children will be asked to sign a contract to read for at least 21 days during the summer. Working toward this goal, they will receive incentives along the way. Each child who completes his or her contract will be invited to a private party in August. The finishers will receive a certificate of completion, a prize, and a free paperback book.

New this year is online registration that may be accessed here, through our web page.

A variety of special events will be offered throughout the summer, supported by the Friends of the Library, the regional library systems, and the MBLC. Sign-up will be held one week before each event.

Students going into grade 6 and up will enjoy the Teens’ program, “WILD READS at your library”. Flyers are available in the Young Adult area of the library.
